Summary: I've rarely had issues, to be fair so not so much interaction with their support. All in all, I think the service works great, and their YouTube videos with BasketMouth are hilarious.

Positive: I discovered Rebtel through the calling service but have since started using it for mobile recharges to my home country, and sending money too. I think pricing is fair, and it helps that they don't charge fees for mobile recharges.

Negative: The design is quite dated tbh. The app is a bit confusing, but once you get the hang of it, it's super easy. I also didn't like that if you're abroad, you can only use wifi calling and I learnt the hard way when I made a call using phone lines and got a roaming bill from my telco at the end of the month. While Rebtel does explain it, it's not very clear

Summary: I would give it 5/10, it is secure but very frustrating most of the you try to make a call and is expensive.

Positive: When I am able to call, the clarity is not bad, it seems that you are safe in terms of fraudulence. Interfere with my local calls when I try to call Canada.

Negative: It is weird when you try to top off your account, it is hit or miss. Really annoying when they keep asking pin every time you try to call a different number. You can't call support because they don't have a number to call. It is super annoying, there are issues most of the time you try to call. I am going to look for other international call services.

Summary: Customer service is very poor / inadequate!
Just want to add money but not possible! No tel number provided to call for help.

Positive: We've been using Rebtel since 2009 and have always been reasonably satisfied. Today though I can't access it-hopeless!

Negative: Today their system won't allow me to add money to renew! Tried various credit cards, several attempts but all fail. They don't have a tel number for Help so I've been in the chat queue for over an hour now. Tried sending an email too but they just keep bouncing it back after adding my last comment each time! What's the point of that!?! I'll look now for an alternative as this is ridiculous and I have an urgent call to make! Now their chat just dropped after 60 mins as their English help service has shut!

Summary: Terrible, Scammers.

Rebtel is a Lie, they will charge you on the free trial time, and be prepared for long distance charges from your own provider as well, be aware of a scam!!

Positive: Worst app, please if you read this, do not use this app, when I used it, they charged me and my own phone provider charged me for long distance call so Rebtel charged me $10 2x in a row and I have Rogers in Canada they also charged me $40 for the long distance call, and that is ridiculous for about 2 minutes and the call quantity was 0 i couldn’t understand anything, I was trying to call my Grandmother in Hungary, so I repeat please do not use this app, it is a scam!!

Negative: Wasted my time and money, Rebtel charged me 2x in a row during a free trial time and my own provider charged me long distance charges!!

Wanted to give them another chance, but nothing changed. I wasted money and time. It's charging even no call is connected. Somebody has to close this business down.
