It boasts two oscillators that can create traditional waveforms or 2D wavetables, each able to utilize up to 16x unison and adjustable sub-oscillators. The synthesizer provides three unique sound engines—normal, dirty, and clean—enabling users to customize the tonal character of their audio. Additionally, Hive 2 features an intuitive drag-and-drop modulation assignment system, a modulation matrix with 12 slots that includes modifiers, and four customizable XY control pads for interactive sound shaping.
