    Digitized my old DVD collection

    Date: Mar 27 2026

    Summary: I just wanted to get my DVD collection onto Plex server so I can watch them without digging through boxes. VideoPaw worked as expected. No complicated settings to mess with, no failed rips, just put the disc in and it works.

    Positive: Had a box of old DVDs collecting dust including some live shows and kids' first birthdays. VideoPaw helped me rip them smoothly. Took about 15-20 mins per disc.

    Negative: If a DVD has multiple language subtitles or tracks, I can only pick one to export. I can't keep them all in one video.

    Wonderful experience

    Edited: Jul 15 2025

    Summary: Essential for format conversion, very helpful to me. I can't import the videos I shoot with my Sony camera into the editing software, saying unsupported formats. And there were some weird DAT files left over from old devices. I'm about to break down, but thankfully I stumbled upon this Video Converter.

    Positive: Converted all my old home videos, even weird AVCHD and DAT files, to MP4 in minutes. Think of it as a straightforward, all-in-one video management app that takes care of most video tasks.

    Negative: When I used the free trial version to convert my video, it couldn't convert the entire video, only first 5 minutes.

    Good customer support
    All-in-one tool - convert formats, download online videos, rip discs

    Negative: Need DVD copy mode. I want to rip DVD and BD in the original format but it can only convert currently.

    Quickly convert videos to MP3

    Date: Sep 05 2025

    Summary: For me, who doesn't have much technical knowledge, this app is a good option. As long as I copy and paste video URLs and select an output format, this app can download videos. Then I can enjoy them without an internet connection.

    Positive: Very user-friendly and clear interface;
    I can select various audio formats, and the supported video formats also suit my needs;
    As long as my internet connection is stable, the app converts video files lightning fast;
    With the app, I can easily download my favorite music videos and news from YouTube.

    Negative: The trial version can only convert 5 minutes of a video. And sometimes it takes a long time when I convert multiple videos, say 15, to MP3.
