Apache Derby Description

With a compact size of approximately 3.5 megabytes for its core engine and embedded JDBC driver, Derby is designed to be lightweight and efficient. It offers an embedded JDBC driver that enables seamless integration of Derby into any Java application. Additionally, Derby accommodates traditional client/server architecture through its Derby Network Client JDBC driver and Derby Network Server, ensuring versatile deployment options for developers.
