Description

You might have observed that the Chromis Logo at the top has been updated. Following discussions with several people, it was determined that a more streamlined logo was necessary. This new logo is set to debut in the upcoming release of Chromis POS. We are actively developing a new version of Chromis POS, and this work is being carried out using OpenJFX version 11. The shift to OpenJFX as our development platform stems from the recent changes in Oracle's Java licensing model. New features in this version will include a loyalty program and gift card functionality, while the integrated Derby database engine will be phased out. Although Chromis POS is still in the early stages of its evolution, it has its roots in an open-source POS system called Unicenta, which was originally a fork of Openbravo. I discovered Unicenta while seeking a Point Of Sale (POS) solution for a friend's tropical fish shop, marking the beginning of this journey. As we continue to innovate and refine Chromis POS, we look forward to implementing even more enhancements in future updates.

Description

Begin by choosing a content type for your QR code, such as a URL, Text, or Email. Once you make your selection, you'll be presented with various options to fill out the necessary fields that will be displayed when someone scans your QR code, so double-check all entries for accuracy, as modifications cannot be made after printing. To give your QR code a distinctive appearance, you can customize the color and alter the conventional shapes used in its design, with the ability to individually modify both the corner elements and the body. You can enhance your QR code further by adding a logo, either by selecting one from the provided gallery or by uploading your own image. Alternatively, you may opt to start designing with one of the templates available in the gallery. Adjust the pixel resolution using the slider to ensure clarity, and then click the "Create QR Code" button to generate a preview of your design. It is essential to confirm that your QR code functions correctly by scanning the preview with a QR code reader. If you wish to obtain a high-quality PNG file suitable for printing, remember to use a high-resolution setting before finalizing your QR code. After you’re satisfied with the customization and functionality, you can proceed to print or share your unique QR code.
