Description
QuikEyes, Inc. and Tricension have implemented measures to ensure that your patient information is safely transferred, stored, and backed up in adherence to HIPAA regulations. To safeguard the data inputted into your patient database, QuikEyes Online employs SSL (Secure Socket Layer) technology, ensuring secure data transmission. All information that is entered, transmitted, and subsequently stored within QuikEyes Online is protected through encryption for enhanced safety. Your unique QuikEyes Online database is not only encrypted but also undergoes nightly backups at Tricension’s Secure Data Center located in North Kansas City, Missouri. Furthermore, the encrypted data receives an additional layer of security through backups at a secondary offsite business continuity data center. It is crucial to note that QuikEyes does not assume responsibility for the security of your individual computer or network systems. We recommend consulting the AOA or AMA guidelines for HIPAA compliance or hiring a computer network consultant who specializes in HIPAA/Medical Offices to ensure that your technology infrastructure is secure and fulfills HIPAA standards. Taking these steps will help you maintain the confidentiality and integrity of your patient data.
